Raised on a military base, Leon, formally known as Five, attempted to escape with his sister, Six. When they were captured, Five’s rage caused an explosion that destroyed the surrounding area, leaving Five with the guilt of killing his sister. While wandering the desert, Five was saved by Niya, who gave him the name, Leon.

Taking up a job as a Smith, Leon met Raikiri when Natsumi needed her sticks repaired. Fuyumi was suspicious due to his bounty, and eventually confronted him, reassured that he was a nice guy. Interrupted by Victor’s search, Leon and Fuyumi watched as Raikiri struggle to stand against the mercenary, refusing to give him up. Inspired by their and Fuyumi’s bravery, Leon reveals himself to the town and defeats Victor by taking advantage of his over confidence. Despite the town offering to shelter him, Leon chooses to leave, joining up with Raikiri. He encouraged Niya to travel with him, as he tried to sell of his shops stock.
