DEMEN

Demen are large, sentient beasts. While lacking in intelligence, they comprehend language and can use basic tools.
They lack the ability to comprehend energy manipulation, but make up for it with brute force.
Form small tribes and communities and rarely integrate with mortals. Given the chance, most will extort or plunder Mortal settlements, with the only deterrent being mercenaries, who despite typically being smaller than Demen can use their energy to overpower even the largest brute.

FOREST APE

Large monkeys, native to Affe. Very territorial and defensive, though most mortals can avoid unwanted attention by staying out of their way.

WIGGLERS

Living plants. A non-violent race that is welcoming to outsiders, but venerable to attack from predators.

WOOD HOG

Giant, warlike pigs with a taste for violence. Often attracting the attention of Mercenaries, their violent tendencies make them a common threat.
